Taking part in the achievement of one of the main tasks of the Awareness Office which is derived from the CMA’s objectives pursuant to the provisions of the law of its establishment No. 7 of 2010 and its amendments, in particular paragraph seven of Article Three, which stipulates the following:
“Raising public awareness of securities activities, and the benefits, risks and obligations relevant to investment in securities, and encouraging their development”, through establishing and promoting the financial literacy among different social categories, especially in the educational field, starting from school up to university. Such an aim may be achieved through various programs, and involving a number of ministries, institutions, authorities, and national and government bodies whilst benefiting from successful international experiences.
It is considered a national project which not only reaches the persons concerned with securities activities, but also aims to prepare future generations in order to meet the market need in accordance with the government’s future development approaches by providing them with the required expertise, knowledge and qualifications, in addition to contributing with other national entities in order to have the required learning and social outcomes according to programs that adopts best international criteria.
The project targets:
The educational field of the intermediary and secondary stages.
The university education in its multiple majors with emphasis on specific majors; Law, Business Administration.
