Title: Resolution No. (14) of 2014 Regarding Canceling the Securities Activities License of AlMulla International Financing & Investment Company K.S.C (Closed) and Removing the Company’s Name from the Licensed Persons Register at the CMA

Having Perused:
- Law No. (7) of 2010 Regarding the Establishment of the Capital Markets Authority and Regulating Securities Activities and its Executive Bylaws; and
- Based on the request of AlMulla International Financing & Investment Company K.S.C (Closed) to cancel all investment securities activities, and remove its name from licensed persons register at the CMA, so it would only practice finance activity which is subject to the surveillance of Central Bank of Kuwait; and
- Based on the Extraordinary General Assembly of AlMulla International Financing & Investment Company K.S.C (Closed) held on 2/9/2012 on the approval of amending the name of the company to Al-Mulla International Finance Company K.S.C (Closed) and the objectives of the Company’s establishment pursuant to the Commercial Companies Law, and notating the same in the Commercial Register Department in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry on 10/10/2012; and
- Based on Resolution No. 1/423/2013 issued on 18/12/2013 from The Central Bank of Kuwait regarding the registration of AlMulla International Finance Company in the Finance Companies Register at the Central Bank of Kuwait; and
- Based on CMA Board of Commissioners Resolution No. (6) of 2013 passed in its meeting No. (4) of 2013 held on 13/3/2013 on delegating some competences of the Markets Regulation Sector.
The Following Was Resolved
Article (1)
The securities activities license of AlMulla International Financing & Investment Company K.S.C (Closed) is hereby canceled, and the company’s name is therefore removed from the licensed persons register at the CMA.
Article (2)
The concerned bodies shall execute this Resolution, each within its jurisdiction. It shall come into force from the date of its issuance, and it shall be published in the Official Gazette.
