CMA LAW: Resolution No. (110) of 2026 Regarding Suspending the Registration of Mr. Ali Owaid Rukhais Awad in the Concerned Register at the Capital Markets Authority

Having Perused:

- Law No. (7) of 2010 on the Establishment of the Capital Markets Authority and Regulating Securities Activities and its Executive Bylaws, and their amendments; and

- The registration certificate of the auditor Mr. Ali Owaid Rukhais Awad No. (EA/2013/0031) issued by the Capital Markets Authority on 14/06/2025; and

- The Ministerial Resolution No. (106) of 2026 issued by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry on 02/07/2026 received by the CMA on 16/07/2026 regarding imposing a penalty of suspension from practicing the profession for a period of one calendar year on the auditor Mr. Ali Owaid Rukhais Awad registration No. (72); and

- Based on CMA Board of Commissioners Resolution passed in its meeting No. (31) of 2026 held on 29/07/2026.

The Following Was Resolved

Article (1)

The registration of the auditor Mr. Ali Owaid Rukhais Awad in the concerned register at the CMA is hereby suspended for one year from 02/07/2026, based on the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Resolution No. (106) of 2026 issued on 02/07/2026 received by the CMA on 16/07/2026 regarding imposing a penalty of suspension from practicing the profession for a period of one calendar year on the mentioned auditor, registered with the Ministry under registration No. (72).

Article (2)

The auditor Mr. Ali Owaid Rukhais Awad shall carry out his tasks with the entities subject to CMA’s supervision with which his appointment contracts are still valid, until the competent entity at each client, in accordance with its legal system, approves his annual report, unless the CMA decides otherwise.

Article (3)

The concerned bodies shall execute this Resolution, each within its jurisdiction. This Resolution shall come into force from 02/07/2026, and it shall be published in the Official Gazette.
