CMA LAW: Announcement regarding issuance of Disciplinary Board Resolution No. (17-2026 Disciplinary Board) (22-2025 Complaint) and imposition of a fine against: Estate Capital Investment Company (formerly Dimah Capital Investment Company), for Violating the Rules of Collective Investment Schemes

Announcement regarding issuance of Disciplinary Board Resolution No. (17-2026 Disciplinary Board) (22-2025 Complaint) and imposition of a fine against: Estate Capital Investment Company (formerly Dimah Capital Investment Company), for Violating the Rules of Collective Investment Schemes.
For the following reasons:
Violation of the Company by marketing the units of two collective investment schemes, receiving the invested funds, completing the subscription procedures, and issuing ownership certificates prior to issuance of the final licenses by the CMA, in violation of Article (77) of Law No. 7 of 2010, and Articles (1-15) and (5-2-1) of Module Thirteen (Collective Investment Schemes) of the Executive Bylaws.
The Resolution included the infliction of the following penalty: -
" Levying a Fine on the complainant Estate Capital Investment Company (formerly Dimah Capital Investment Company) in the amount of KWD 20,000 (twenty thousand Dinars) for the attributed violation.”
In this regard, the CMA emphasizes the implementation of CMA Law and its Executive Bylaws on all persons dealing in securities activities, and urges them to comply with these Laws in order to promote investors' confidence, create a sound investment environment, and implement the Law according to the principles of fairness, transparency, and integrity in line with the best international practice.
