Title: Press Release: Inaugural of Capital Markets Academy Program “Laws and Regulations of the Capital Markes Authority – State of Kuwait”
Kuwait, November 3, 2024 – The Capital Markets Academy – Kuwait has successfully concluded its first program, a preparatory program for the professional certification “Laws and Regulations of the Capital Markets Authority – State of Kuwait”. The five-days program, held from October 20-24,2024 targeted employees of registered positions at licensed persons, employees of capital markets authorities and similar supervisory entities, in addition to all society segments and the public interested in capital markets topics.
The program aims to enable the participants to understand and comprehend the regulations of the securities market and the regulations of the Capital Markets Authority of the State of Kuwait as they are applicable to the securities’ investors and licensed persons, in addition to preparing participants to pass the Professional Qualifications test accredited by the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI).
The program has achieved its goal. Despite the Academy’s novelty, the turnout registration of the program was more than expected, which reflects the program’s success that resonated with the participants and had a positive implication on the financial institutions, and the Academy was asked to reintroduce the program.

The Capital Markets Academy is a non-profit educational and training institution focused on securities markets, with an independent legal personality.
