Title: Resolution No. (119) of 2024 Regarding Approval on the Appointment of a Liquidator of Greenstone Kuwait Investment Consultancy Company

Having Perused:
- Law No. 7 of 2010 Regarding the Establishment of the Capital Markets Authority and Regulating Securities Activities and its Executive Bylaws and their amendments; and
-Based on Resolution No. (138) of 2022 Regarding Approval on the Appointment of a Liquidator and Cancellation of Securities Activities License of Greenstone Kuwait Investment Consultancy Company issued on 01/09/2022; and
- Based on the Announcement Regarding Expiration of Practicing Securities Activities License of Greenstone Kuwait Investment Consultancy Company issued on 04/09/2022; and
- Based on Resolution No. (99) of 2024 Regarding Canceling the Registration of the Late Mr. Mohammed Hamad Sulaiman Al-Sultan from the Concerned Register at the CMA on 07/08/2024; and
- The application submitted by Greenstone Kuwait Investment Consultancy Company for the approval of appointing a liquidator on 01/09/2024; and
- Based on Resolution No. (24) of 2023 regarding amending the approval authorizations of the Supervision Sector’s procedures issued on 12/02/2023.
The Following Was Resolved
Article (1)
Mr. Ali Mohammed Ismael Kouhari is hereby granted an approval to be appointed a liquidator for Greenstone Kuwait Investment Consultancy Company. The liquidator shall not proceed with the works thereof unless the approval of the company’s general assembly is granted, and the procedures related to liquidation are completed.
Article (2)
The license granted to the Company is hereby cancelled, and it shall be removed from the licensed persons register at the CMA after fulfilling the criteria and requirements required by the CMA.
Article (3)
The Company shall fulfill all the legal obligations pursuant to Law No. 7 of 2010 Regarding the Establishment of the Capital Markets Authority and Regulating Securities Activities and its Executive Bylaws, and their amendments, for the period prior to the enforcement of this Resolution.
Article (4)
The concerned bodies shall execute this Resolution, each within its jurisdiction. This Resolution shall come into force from the date of its issuance, and it shall be published in the Official Gazette.
