As the Capital Markets Authority is keen to implement the full disclosure policy in order to achieve fairness and transparency, and avoid the conflict of interests and exploitation of inside information by enforcing the rules and regulations of disclosure; it draws the attention of the issuers to the importance of abiding by the provisions of disclosing material information regulations, in particular the ones related to publishing information on the issuer's website.

The Authority also draws the attention of all issuers to the importance of making all the announcements they made before regarding the material information related to them available on their website by the end of each business day during which they made such announcement, along with keeping an archive on their website of all the announcements they made in this regard in previous times, and to make them accessible at any time by anyone.

The issuer shall make sure not to announce any material information through its website prior to the issuance of the announcement in the website of the Capital Markets Authority and the Securities Exchange, except for the case which regulate the disclosure when listing in a foreign market, where it is mandatory to announce the disclosure in two local daily newspapers and publishing the same disclosed information on the issuer's website during the official holidays in the State of Kuwait, provided that the same piece of information shall be published in the Securities Exchange before the commencement of the trading session following the official holiday.

Therefore, the Authority urges all issuers to give the due diligence to publishing the material information on their websites, and to take the required procedure in this regard to protect the traders' interests and avoid any responsibility.
