Kuwait, 21st April 2014 – The conclusion and notarization of "Kuwait Bourse Company" contract and Articles of Association took place at CMA headquarters on Monday 21st April 2014. The contract and the Articles of Association were signed by CMA's Chairman Mr. Saleh Mubarak Al-Falah, with the attendance of the Vice Chairman, the Board of Commissioners members, and the Constituent Committee. The CMA is entitled to establish the company pursuant to Article (33) of Law No. (7) of 2010 regarding the "Establishment of Capital Markets Authority and Regulating Securities' Activity". The company has been capitalized at KWD 60 million. The par value of the share is 100 fils distributed on 600 million shares.
This step represents a great achievement to the CMA and a quantum leap to Kuwait financial Market, which is the result of more than two years efforts by the CMA, the Kuwait Bourse Company Establishment Committee and its advisors, in addition to the Constituent Committee.
