CMA LAW: Announcement Regarding issuance of Disciplinary Board Resolution No. (25/2026 Disciplinary Board) (32/2026 Authority) and imposition of a fine against: NCM Investment Company, for Violating the Rules of Capital Adequacy Regulations for Licensed Persons.

Announcement regarding issuance of Disciplinary Board Resolution No. (25/2026 Disciplinary Board) (32/2026 Authority) and imposition of a fine against: NCM Investment Company, for Violating the Rules Capital Adequacy Regulations for Licensed Persons.
For the following reasons:
First: The provision of Article (2-3) of Module Seventeen (Capital Adequacy Regulations for Licensed Persons) of the Executive Bylaws of Law No. 7 of 2010 and their amendments:
It was proven to the CMA that NCM Investment Company did not submit the capital adequacy report for the financial period that ended on 31/03/2026 during the legal period that ended on 17/5/2026.
Second: Provisions of Circular No. (6) of 2017 Regarding Reviewed Periodical Financial Statements and Annual Audited Financial Statements:
Third: The provision of Article (139) of Law No. 7 of 2010 and its amendments:
It was proven to the CMA that NCM Investment Company did not submit to CMA its periodical financial statements for the financial period that ended on 31/3/2026 during the legal period that ended on 17/5/2026.
The Resolution included the infliction of the following penalty:
“Levying a fine on NCM Investment Company in the amount of KWD 5,000 (Five Thousand Diners) for each of the two attributed violations.
In this regard, the CMA emphasizes the implementation of CMA Law and its Executive Bylaws on all persons dealing in securities activities and urges them to comply with these Laws in order to promote investors' confidence, create a sound investment environment, and implement the Law according to the principles of fairness, transparency, and integrity in line with the best international practice.
