Greetings,
With reference to the Ministerial Resolution No. (141) of 2023 on the Executive Regulation for the Implementation of United Nations Security Council Resolutions Issued under Chapter Seven of the United Nations Charter Related to Terrorism and Combating Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction, published in the Official Gazette “Kuwait Al-Youm” in its issue No. (1641) issued on Sunday 25/06/2023, we would like to note that pursuant to the mentioned Ministerial Resolution, the Executive Regulation for the Implementation of United Nations Security Council Resolutions Issued under Chapter Seven of the United Nations Charter Related to Terrorism and Combating Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction has been reissued. Therefore, we attach to you copy of the Ministry of External Affairs’ letter dated 05/07/2023, which includes the aforementioned Ministerial Resolution.
Accordingly, you are required to update your internal policies and procedures pursuant to this Ministerial Resolution. We would also like to confirm the importance of complying with aforementioned Ministerial Resolution, particularly Articles (19, 24, and 25).
