Title: CMA Starts its Last Awareness Program of 2016

Kuwait, November 21, 2016 - CMA inaugurates the last awareness event for the year 2016 on Tuesday November 29. It will be held according to the usual recurring mechanism of CMA awareness workshops at Market Building in Khaled Al-Kharafi Hall at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesdays on the set dates of the program.
It should be noted that the program is limited to three awareness workshops. The topics of such workshops were selected based on investors and concerned entities current interests, which the CMA chose to focus on for this and upcoming periods.
The final Awareness workshop program for 2016 will cover the following:
First workshop (29/11/2016):
Topic: Listing Rules.
Department: Markets Regulation
Second workshop (6/12/2016)
Topic: Voluntary Delisting.
Department: Studies& Capital Markets Developments/ Markets Regulations.
Third workshop (27/12/2016)
Topic: Comparison between indices of applicable stock prices in Boursa Kuwait and the best alternatives.
Department: Studies & Capital Markets Developments
As the Capital Markets Authority begins its final awareness activities for the current year, a public invitation is directed to the public to attend these workshops. It hopes that the concerned parties will participate in the discussions to achieve the desired awareness goals related to securities issues. The CMA also welcomes all questions and queries on various issues related to its different activities through its website: www.cma.gov.kw
