Title: Capital Markets Authority Announces Reporting Suspected Crime to the Capital Markets Prosecution
Date Publish
07 September 2021
The Capital Markets Authority announces reporting to the Capital Market Prosecution on 6/9/2021 the suspicious occurrence of the crime stipulated in Item No. (3) of Article (126) and Item (3) of Article (127) of Law No. 7 of 2010 regarding the Establishment of the Capital Markets Authority and Regulating Securities Activities and its amendments. This is due to the failure of the defendant (a Chairman of the Board of Directors of a company licensed to practice securities activities) to provide the CMA’s on-site supervision team with data and information that it deems important to have access to, in a way that has obstructed the CMA and its employees’ supervisory tasks.
